An engagement ring lost 40 years ago, leads to a breakup between two childhood sweethearts (Kazan and Lo Bianco) who remain resentful neighbors after each inherits neighboring wineries.

Now, the woman's daughter (Heaton) and the man's nephew (Spano) meet and find that their growing attraction is hindered by the misunderstanding of the past as the ring is finally delivered.
